Once outside the coverage area, you can use your phone within a GSM compatible network, if you are in Thuraya’s coverage area and have an existing cellular service, the Thuraya phone allows you toaccess your local network and then link to satellite mode once you are outside that service area.You can even use the SIM card of your normal mobile to access your GSM networkon the Thuraya phone.
